Currently we are in the "Fund-Raising" stage. We participate in many events, to get the word out and collect donations in our track "bucket".

April 2009

The Havasu Half raised $1,050.00 during their 2009 event! Attending the check presentation during the LHUSD #1 board meeting were (from left) Karen Opperud, Richard Iddings of the Havasu Half, Lauren Dukes and Jim Day, Chairman of the Dream Track Committee. $5 from every race registration, whether it's the 5k or Half Marathon, goes to the track fundraiser. This is a FIVE year commitment raising money for this cause and we look forward to being able to donate to this special community project.

November 2008

The Alumni raised $3,550.00 during the 2008 Reunion! Attending the check presentation were (from left) Jim Day, Chairman of the Dream Track Committee, Lauren Dukes, Superintendent Gail Malay, Gail Broderick and George Pirez, both Class of 1983 alumni.
